Parents are always welcome to discuss concerns with staff after school or by appointment. In the mornings, urgent matters or messages should be taken to the school office. The headteacher is very happy for parents to see him at any time, although it is wise to make sure that he is available first.

Parents should never be concerned that a matter is too insignificant to discuss with the school. We would rather put parent's minds at rest than have them worrying unduly.

Formal consultations take place in November and March with the opportunity to discuss the content of the child's annual report in July.

During your child's time at school a number of tests may be used to help the school track progress. National Tests (Standardised Attainment Tasks and Tests) are, by law, given to all Year 2 and Year 6 children each year. These tests give each child a level of attainment. The majority of children should reach Level 2 or above at the end of Key Stage 1, and Level 4 or above at the end of Key Stage 2. To see our current results click here.
